Hoping to find solace, two refugee's from Ethiopia enter a new town. Inspired by the myth of Andromeda, the water crisis and female empowerment - this play has been devised over the course of 3 years. Andromeda is an outdoor epic featuring puppets with big headed ideology, totalitarian regimes headed by Poseidon and an angel recalling the wounds of the past. The play juxtaposes comedic prose and poetic monologues, regimented marches and lyrical movements, neon outfits and the most basic of clothes. What shines through is the power and love of Andromeda and her mother Cassiopeia.
